Last year, VPL had more than 6.9 million visits with patrons borrowing nearly 9.5 million items including: books, ebooks, CDs, DVDs and magazines. Across 22 locations and online, VPL serves nearly 428,000 active members and is the third-largest public library system in Canada. My first time in Vancouver and of course I had to go to the library. What a library! It was the highlight of my day trip over the border. So much to see I spent 2 hours just wandering the collections, art, and history displays. Next time in B.C. I will be back!
