General Cleaning Plus

Unreliable, dishonest and takes no responsibility

The cleaning service didn't attend for a scheduled appointment, were dishonest about their followp & their dis-action cost this consumer money. I had a verbal agreement with Genl Cleaning Plus for cleaning service. Not only did they not show up that day, but no one returned my phone messages until 7:04 pm at night. The woman advised they were held up on another job. She then lied, stating she had phoned me earlier that day in attempts to advise me of the situation. I have a record of all calls received that day and this was untrue. No one contacted me prior. She then apologized and eventually offered to send someone the next day. I advised her that the movers had already taken my possessions, I was vacating the apartment that day and I had been forced to start the cleaning on my own. I had to rent a carpet cleaner. **The cleaning company did not offer any compensation nor did she offer to send someone over immediately to rectify the situation.** I ultimaely cleaned for 8 hours, was forced to rent a hotel room after being fatigued and having no where else to stay. This company set me behind in my moving schedule, cost me money for a hotel and resulted in physical fatigue. I was never offered any compensation and it was appaling to think I chose such a company because they were registered with the Better Business Bureau (who unfortunately can not mediate everything).
