Large rooms with air conditioning, 4 piece private bathroom, coffee maker, fridge, free WiFi, flat screen cable TV, alarm clocks and floor fans. The furniture in the rooms is made of rustic cedar style, for a unique look. All rooms are Non Smoking, and pet free. Parking directly in front of your room. Ample parking for large vehicles and trucks. Sit and relax in front of your room and watch the beautiful sunsets.

Wayside Motel is about a 10 minute walk from the downtown core, where you will find, a grocery store, drug store, restaurant, gas station, library, L.C.B.O, and museum. Also in town there is a post office and Bank of Montreal with an ATM. At the waterfront, there is a public beach, and marina. An 18 hole golf course with a restaurant is 2 km. away.     We arrived on July 4, 2016 and we were well received, the owner was very knowledgeable, friendly and polite. We really enjoyed our stay here, the room was big and clean. We wanted to stay an extra night, however it was all booked, but the owner went the extra mile to find us a place to stay for the night. We would definitely stay here again.

    This is the ONLY ...

    This is the ONLY place I stay when there on business, LARGE – SUPER CLEAN rooms!! , Great price, owner is awesome, knowledgeable, helpful…Nice flat screen tv’s, nice setting, quiet..(always a bonus) Now they have a store on site as well, that is SUPER when you arrive late and everything else is closed!! Would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone….stayed at other place close by and the Wayside rooms are SO much BIGGER….Always a great stay there. Check it out.

    I have stayed in many hotels & motels in sudbury, also around Canada and the USA. The Moonlight motel stood out above other sudbury motels. The motel is like staying in a franchise hotel room with a very reasonable room rate. My room Included a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and I got one with a kitchen. As well the motel is located in a quiet area of Sudbury, very easy to get around sudbury within 10 mintues to work downtown. The management, front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and the service was above what other motels would do. The motel room I stayed in was clean when I checked in. After each day I got back from work none of my things were moved and the room was cleaned exceptional well. I was impressed with the Moonlight Inn motel that is why I am writing this review.
