Bill, it's really sad to hear but I'm not surprised
this company have really sucks wages, and pretty bad attitude to techs, so the attitude of the workers to the work going down when they understanding wage chances
now they merged 2 branches to one so it more chances to get good technician to examine your device (most of the good technician looking outside because of the low wages and bad attitude)
I gave the company the note 2 to repair the poor antenna reception, and they did not know how to do a reset of the phone. I told them how to do it. still they could not fix the phone, so I pickup the phone and pay the 40 $ so they can say we can't fix. I take the phone home and the phones power button is broken. I am not going to take the phone back to those people so they can damage my phone more.
I do not recommend this company. Samsung recommended this place for out of warranty devices. I would not though!!
