Hi, I have just discovered this hidden gem in barrie and I can’t believe I’ve gone this long without trying the pasta here. I’ve had a few lasagnas and a lot of spinach and ricotta Ravioli and I can definitely say it was hands down the best pasta I have ever had! The owner Del was absolutely awesome and super helpful at helping choose the perfect meal. Wish I had found this pasta shop sooner, quality food is hard to come by. Read more

Great value good service and good portions. I often get the pasta package for one, minus the little dessert (way to full for it!!). Its only $15.99 & gets you an entire meal w/ drink too. we always have left overs cuz like most we end up filling up on salad, soup and that yummy warm endless garlic bread! We usually get a side of parm to butter n dip the bread in yum! I often order the pasta with half spicy arabata sauce and half bolognese and add veggies to the dish. Mike the owner of Bella Notte has done a fabulous job on making such a quiant atmosphere. He has pictures on the walls of him and the generations before him and this is Italian history at its finest. I really enjoy supporting the local businesses in my neighbourhood and this one is very easy to become a regular at. The food is amazing and is a great substitute for downtown Toronto dining. Bella Notte provides fresh food with unique flavors, it has a great wine selection, and always friendly service. You will need to expect however that on the weekends especially, it will be veryyyyy busy and the service may be slower than usual (standard for any restaurant really), so my advice to you is to purchase a great bottle of wine and enjoy the night with your loved ones. This establishment really gives you the time to enjoy your meal, wine and conversation which is not something done at your run of the mill franchises. For a great dining experience and a taste of Italy, I highly recommend it! Read more

We have visited many Italian reataurants throughout Ontario from Brockville to Niagara Falls, Oshawa to North Bay and Avanti's in Oshawa is number one. Not because we live here, because of the food, the service, the friendly atmosphere and the cleanliness of this establishment. Their Fusilli in Bianco is our favorite. We have dined there many times before Oshawa Generals Hockey games and Shows at the newly renovated Regent Theatre. And we are so proud to mention Avanti's everywhere we go.
