Keeps a gluten free bread for sandwiches that is the best I have had! Also keeps a selection of g/f pastries that will challenge your diet with really decent deserts. The deserts are a little expensive but worth the splurge for a treat that will make you gld you did. Toppings are included with snadwich selections like pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onions (real fine slices) etc.. This woman knows and understands how to make a gluten free sandwich this will delight any celiac or wheat avoider person.
Always a smile and good friendly humour along with such a quaint atmosphere generated in this cozy place. Too bad supper isn't available as I would definitely impress guests visiting from the big cities, here.
Coffee? All the fancy varieties in a huge mug! Beats the big chains and you don't even need to know any Italian to order!

Mostly excellent food here. Had one bad lunch where we were not impressed with the food taste on a few items. Off day? The other dozen visits food was excellent!
Recommend the feta and spinach frittata! The included fruit tidbits are typically really fresh and tasty too.
Service is good, friendly and fairly quick food delivery.

Local pub with small-town feel but a huge atmosphere. Well priced, diverse soul food menu, friendly staff, cottage-rustic vibe and a nice selection of beer.
We went on Wednesday Wing night and it was packed by 5:30 with a short line-up to get in. They had a table for us right away in a nice location. One of us wanted wings and asked if there were any dry-rubbed flavours, as there didn't appear to be any on the menu. To our delight they had a dry Cajun flavour that was excellent. Wings themselves were large and meaty and the vegetables that came with them were just enough and freshly cut. All of which was served with a generous stack of napkins and wet-wipes.
The other ordered the aptly named "Long-Weekend Burger" complete with cheddar & Swiss, sautéed mushrooms & caramelized onions and opted for sweet-potato fries as a side for an additional cost. (I don't know about you, but whenever there's a "long-weekend" in my circle there's always bacon involved ~ but they had another burger with some on it) The burger itself was huge, juicy, and did not have a lot of added flavouring allowing the true taste of the beef to come through. This allowed the flavour to be somewhat customized with the good selection of condiments delivered to the table. Freshly cut tomatoes & red onion topped it under a nice Kaiser roll. Sweet potato fries were plentiful, crisp, long and lightly dusted with sea salt to be complimented by white or malt vinegar and/or their own house dip.
Beers were served in a frosted glass, which compelled us to have more than one ~ otherwise this would be in the $11-25 range!
Bathrooms were clean and adequate. House was well-kept. The only gripe we had was the dim lighting which made it hard to read the Trivial Pursuit cards at each table (which were a very nice touch, even though they were obviously an older US edition!)
It's rare to have a great dining experience in such a packed house. Overall this was a great meal and it will likely become a default destination if we can't decide where else to try.

6 of us went to Memories Restaurant for my birthday celebration. The atmosphere is great, they had a fun trivia game going for those who wanted to participate in the bar/lounge area and the restaurant seating area is open and welcoming. Our server Samantha was very attentive and was able to answer all our questions about our meal choices. Our meals were so wonderful and very flavorful, the taste is something to experience. We dined at the Siamese Gecko last evening for our anniversary. The menu had plenty of options, you could choose from curries, stir frys, and soups. After each meal title, there is a ranking of how spicy the dish is starting at not spicy going up to very, very spicy. I chose item 25-2 (sorry, the name escapes me) because it was under the very, very spicy and it certainly was. Even with my tongue on fire, there was an amazing amount of flavour. It was served on a platter with chicken, green beans, sweet red pepper, Thai basil, kaffir lime and crushed hot peppers. My wife had a squash curry that was delightfully creamy and the squash melted in your mouth. It was a non spicy dish with some sweetness in it and again, plenty of flavour. The prices are excellent, most dishes range from 9.99 to 11.99 and we both brought home half of our dinners. Meals do not come with rice or noodles, they are extra. However it was only 1.99 for a bowl of rice that was more than adequate and the whole cost of the meal was very affordable. Service was adequate, the restaurant was clean including washrooms. We both highly recommend!

We were served by Angus. Very friendly and gave us a lot of toruistic information on Collingwood and Blue Mountain. Food was amazing, husband had fish n chips and I chose the Thai prawn curry, dishes looked impeccable and the taste stood up to the looks. If we came again would definitely pay Kelsey’s a visit.
