My honey and I just moved to town about a week ago from Vancouver and were looking for a place to get a decent meal that did not include pizza or burgers. I am happy to report that the roast lamb dinner at Orestes is the best I have ever had! Not only was it delicious, but the portion size was quite manly. Will definitely be going back for more. This little restaurant is a little known gem that we stumbled on to on our search for the best local chinese food. The service is great - friendly and efficient and the food is fantastic. If you live in Parksville its well worth the drive to Qualicum if you're looking for a great experience. My only complaint is that they close at least once a year for vacation leaving me craving their delicious dinners. Read more
